Situated in a favourable position, between the fashionable Tigullio Gulf and the characteristic villages cof the Cinque Terre, Deiva Marina offers the visitors a wide range of opportunities which go beyond simply enjoyng the large sandy beach and the crystal clear sea and relaxing. For people who like walking, biking or just sightseeing, our place is a suitable departure point for various excursions in the surroundings. Going east, you can discover the beautiful Cinque Terre and, of course, walk through the "Love Promenade" - a romantic path, built in the 1930s, along the sea offering an unforgettable view. According to a legend, lovers came to this place to exchange love promises under the moonlight, so today, walking this way with the beloved person, is considered as a lucky charm.
The five old tiny villages which seem to resist the passing of time, because of their colours and shapes, complete the harmony with nature.

The Gulf of Poets, where Shelleys and Lord Byron lived is filled with attractive little towns and sea landscapes whose beauties were described by  the poets and painters.
Then, not too far away, towards Tuscany, there is
Lunigiana, a region full of history and archeological sites, and the famous Versilia coast. Going west, instead, the most visited places are certainly Portofino and the surrounding villages of S. Margherita Ligure, Camogli, which have become exclusive holiday resorts. Genova, the biggest town of this area, hosting one of the largest aquariums in Europe, is less than on hour away by car. There you can visit historical buildings, art museums and a characteristic old port.
For people who enjoy sport the area offers
swimming, fishing, underwater explorations, biking, and golf. Trekking fans from all over the world come to walk along the coastal paths that link Levante towns through terraces and vineyards, olive groves and pinewoods.
