 Asolo is situated in strategic position for the visit of a lot of places of historical and artistic interest. Is only at 65 kilometers from Venice and its airport, 25 kilometers from Treviso, 50 kilometers from Vicenza and approximately 40 from Padova.
At 14 kilometers lies "Bassano del Grappa", where it cannot not be visited the famous palladian bridge and the famous factories of grappa. Little more far away is Marostica with its famous square, where two times a year comes played a game of chess with figuring in the gigantic chessboard on the main public square. By Car:
From Venice
Follow Highway A27 to Treviso. Exit at Treviso Nord and continue to Postioma. Follow SS348 to Montebelluna then take SS248 to Bassano del Grappa. Asolo is about 9 Kilometers after Montebelluna. As you get close to Asolo, watch for the signs for the center of town and the hotel.
From Bologna/Padua
Follow Motorway A13 and exit at Padova Ovest. Take the SS47 to Cittadella and then follow the SS53 to Castelfranco. Look for the sign for Asolo which is approximately 12 Kilometers. Once you get close to Asolo look for the sign for the town center and the hotel.
From Bolzano/Germany
Follow Motorway A22 and exit at Trento Nord. Follow SS47 towards Bassano del Grappa. Continue eastward to SS248 in the direction of Asolo or Montebelluna. Asolo is 12 Kilometers after Bassano. When you get close to Asolo, look for the signs pointing to the center of town and the hotel.
From Turin/Milan
Take Motorway A4 towards Venice. As you get close to Vicenza, continue east and take the motorway junction to A31 which is Valdastico. Exit at Dueville and follow SS248 towards Bassano. Continue eastward to Asolo Montebelluna. When you get close to Asolo, look for the signs pointing to the center of town and the hotel. |
