We were disappointed that the outside patio over looking the sea closed at midnight. It owuld have been nice to sit there on the warm evenings we enjoyed.

The directions need to be improved as ther are several turns to get to the hotel that are not in the directions.

The property is absolutely exceptional, the reception and the language capabilities could, however, be improved in respect to a foreign clientele. The dining room and the reception areas could also be improved to give a more pleasant and 'cosy' aspect.

This hotel had the best location in all of Camogli. While most Europeans have to use beaches so crowded that there is almost no room to even stretch out, this hotel had its own private pool, private beach and the most beautiful views that you could imagine. If you want to stay in style this is the place.

The hotel and its facilities are absolutely beautiful! The scenery from the hotel is breathtaking. It was the most relaxing experience laying by the pool overlooking the sea and the town of Camogli. It was also a unforgettable expeirience having an aperitif on the patio watching the sunset behind the hills. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had to check out very early in the morning before the valet was available to get out car. The front desk clerk arranged for our car to be waiting for us, without us even asking for this to be done! They seemed to anticipate our needs.

Maybe a more detailed map of Camogli would help. A helpful police officer set us on the right track.

The staff gave us a wonderful upgrade to a suite. The room was spacious and adequate in every way. The only comment I have is that the decor of the rooms seem a little spartan and dated. I expected it to be a little nicer.

Beautiful views on the edge of the sea. Very nice, but not luxury. Convenient to restaurants and shops on the boardwalk. Fun window onto the pool from the bar and drinks on the terrace at sunset are definitely a delight. Drinks are not served on the beach, but if you go to the bar they will prepare one for you in a plastic cup.

This is a lovely facility. The staff was extremely accomodating in assisting with some faxing and e-mailing needs I had for business reasons. This was my first visit to Italy and I was nervous as I did not speak the language, but the hotel staff was multi-lingual and extremely pleasant.

Our room was located across the courtyard from the reception. It would have been good if the receptionist would have asked if we needed help with our luggage, rather than trying to take it myself. Especially when the elevator was up a flight of stairs.

The offer was good value for money.
But, if the rooms were made cleaner everyday (ie. a little bit cleaning every day and fersh towels twice a day) and the staff would be more attentive and active service oriented (ie. the breakfast waiters), then I would be prepared to pay more for the stay.
However, if it was more expensive, I would change of hotel the next time going to Liguria.

Cenobio dei Dogi has not only good facilities and a beautiful location at the sea front of Camogli. The hotel is also very close to Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure. The value for money of this hotel, compared to the ones in these other towns, is therefore fairly good.

It is located very close to the towns Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure, so you can also enjoy the more lively italian atmosphere, other than the quite atmosphere of Camogli. it is definitely a hotel I can recommend and would consider myself the next holiday in Liguria.

Signs were unclear from certain directions getting to the hotel.

There was no privacy between the two areas.
And it was very noisy until later at night.
It was our last night of over two weeks of travel and we were hoping for quiet and rest.

I have stayedd here before and remembered the hotel as fantastic! I was sad to see it is becoming shabby and in need of refurbishing. The dining room and staff were substandard for this level of hotel and the food very disappointing. Complaints were not treated politely or dealt with adequately.

Camogli is a delightful little fishing town
and a good place to stay for a few days. The
Cenobio dei Doge is the perfect place to
stay there. It is very pleasant, friendly
and comfortable, in a beautiful location,
which looks out across the town's beach
towards the church and port.

It was much smaller than the last time we stayed there. We were supposed to have a garden room, but we got a street room. the hotel was great as ever but i was really supprised to get charched for the tennis court as it wasn't in a very nice condition
(had leafs everywere) I think if a hotel advertise a tennis court it should be a free facility...

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. However, the room was not very clean and the shower leaked all over the floor. They were unable to fix the leak. We used all of our towels to mop up the leak after a shower and we always had a shortage of towels. The room was really a disappointment, but the hotel and ammenities were good.

Overall, we really enjoyed the town, but we felt the hotel was a disappointment. If they did a better job cleaning and accomodated our leak situation, we would have been happy.
