It lies in a quiet position surrounded by mountains and lake and offers unforgettable views. In the garden, well equipped with deck chairs, tables and chairs, client can relax or swim in the heated swimming pool enjoying the spectacular scenery of nature. |
 In the night the illumination of garden and swimming pool creates a romantic atmosphere.Inside the property guests can find a free private parking area, a laundry with a slot washing machine, tumble drier and iron, a toilet for the garden and can rent house linen. For your wellness you can use the sauna with aroma therapy or rent the apartment with hydro massage.
At the arrival guests are given a friendly welcome by the management and provided with brochures, maps and detailed information about the area. In the apartment clients will find rules and utility numbers. |

The Residence Celeste is located just 10 minutes from Villa Carlotta and its beautiful botanical gardens in Tremezzo.There is also the Villa Melzi in Bellagio (the pearl of lake), the Villa Serbelloni belonging to the Rockfeller Foundation, Villa Cipressi and Villa Monastero in Varenna.
From the residence just in 5 minutes you are offered the unique opportunity to visit the beautiful Villa Balbianello in Lenno. The Villa is owned by the FAI (The Italian National Trust). Surrounded by attractive gardens, the Villa is in an ideal position; it is situated on the point of the peninsular known as the Dosso d'Avedo and enjoys unique panoramic views of the lake.The Villa was used as a centrepiece for the film "A Month by the Lake" released in the UK in 1996 and also several scenes from the very new "Star wars" film, released in May 2002, were shot here. |
 Events:
The summer event par excellence is St Giovanni's festival in the Comacina Island with a boat procession carrying holy relics and holy mass celebrated upon the remains of the centuries-old basilica; the renewed sagra is added to the rites a secular festival of enormous appeal to tourists: 1000 of visitor watch the fireworks that recall the fire of the island.
During the summer there are numerous typical sagre such as "sagra del missoltino", "sagra dei pizzoccheri" etc.
The festival of St Mary's Nativity at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Succour (now Unesco's property) is for the inhabitants of the lake the beginning of autumn.In February there is the picturesque Carnival of Schignano which gives life to the lanes with the parades of the fair (bej) and ugly (brutt). Don't forget in springs the flowering of azaleas and rhododendrons.
