 The Santa Caterina has two restaurants: one in the main building and the other at sea level. The cuisine is so famous that it has been hosted in New York's Hotel Plaza on more than one occasion. Our award-winning cuisine is part of the enjoyment of the Santa Caterina. The fame of our two restaurants is recognized by the most authoritative guidebooks worldwide.
Restaurant "Santa Caterina": Located on the Reception level, the Restaurant offers spectacular views and a large terrace for dining. The dining room is very elegant and features marble and lapis lazuli floors. The Cuisine is renowned for its delicious, traditional yet creative dishes. Dress code is informal but long trousers are required. Buffet Breakfast and Lunch in low season are also served here. Reservation is recommended. |
 Restaurant "Al Mare": In high season from May to October, lunch is served in this Restaurant located at the Beach Club level overlooking the swimming-pool. Here grilled fish and pizzas baked in the traditional oven are available. Dress code is informal and shorts are welcome. Reservation is recommended. |
 Bar "La Terrazza": An aperitif, a snack, a drink after dinner are extremely pleasant in our bar lounge or the large terrace with view over Amalfi and the wonderful bay. The Barman prepares a large selection of cocktails, long drinks and home-made lemon liqueurs, accompanied by hot and cold canapés!
Bar "Spiaggia": The delightful Bar located at the Beach Club offers an attentive service with an extensive choice of soft drinks, fruit cocktails and tropical drinks to refresh oneself during the hours dedicated to sun and sea. |
 The Beach Club: Two elevetors cut into the rock lead directly to the private beach and sea-water swimming pool open from 8.00 am to 07.00 pm from April to October, weather permitting. The area is cordoned off and therefore it is advisable for children to be accompanied by an adult.
The Fitness Centre: The gym with its sophisticated equipment is at the guests' disposal without the supervision of an instructor and is open from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm. The following equipment is available: Step, Recline, Run-race, Chest Press, Vertical Row, Leg Extension, Standing Leg Curl, 4 use bench, Crunch bench, Dumb-bells from 4 to 22 Kg, Swedish Bars, Electric equipment.
Boutique: Our Boutique is located opposite the top floor of the Beach Club elevators. Ceramics, gifts, lady bathing suites, necklaces and Santa Caterina items are available for purchase. Open only in high season from 9.:45 am to 11.30 am and from 12.15 pm to 06.00 pm. Our Concierge will assist you with recommendations for shopping in Amalfi and surroundings.
Parking: Outdoor guarded parking or indoor parking in our garage are available. |
 Excursion with private boat: Our Beach Club attendants can arrange for you an unforgettable day on the water. During your stay do not miss the chance to see the coastline from the sea and explore beaches reachable only by boat, or swim in the clear waters of the "Galli" islands in front of Positano. Excursions can also be arranged to Nerano, a quiet bay located at the far end of the peninsula with seafood restaurants right on the sea front, or to the Island of Capri. You may choose from a large variety of wooden boats, speedboats and sail boats of different sizes, with or without captain. Here above you may see a few examples to decide upon.  Excursions: The Amalfi Coast lies on the south side of the Sorrento peninsula. It is one of the most delightful seaside destinations in Campania and claims to be Europe's most beautiful stretch of coast, its corniche road winding around the towering cliffs that slip almost sheer into the sea. There is no fixed season to visit the Amalfi Coast. Besides enjoying the pleasures of the seaside and going on excursions, visitors can eat in fish restaurants and try Per e Palummo or Lacryma Christi, the local wines from the vineyards on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. After Sorrento, the main road goes to Positano, which looks out over the sea from the top of a cliff. Further along the coast, there is the charming town of Praiano. Amalfi itself is the largest and best known of the coastal towns. Ravello has the best view of the coast and further on, past Atrani, are the Roman ruins at Minori with their beautiful old art remains.
In general: The Santa Caterina provides a shuttle service from and to the center of Amalfi. The shuttle car allows maximum 6 persons and runs every 30 minutes, from 8.00 am to 12.00 pm and from 03.00 pm to 05.30 pm. Some public transports are connected directly from the hotel to other places to visit. |
