To have seen Italy without seeing Sicily is not having seen Italy at all. "For Sicily is the key to everything". (J. W. Ghoethe)

From May to the beginning of August there are fields of tomatoes, if requested we will teach you how to pick the tomatoes, to cook and to preserve a delicious tomato sauce.

The area is extremely quiet and peaceful with stunning views of rolling countryside. You are in the middle of a quiet and gorgeous landscape remote enough that you rarely hear any noise but the sounds of birds singing. There are excellent walking opportunities in the hilly countryside (there are almost no fences here, and the farmers encourage you to go where you like).

Casale Galati have three apartments: Maestrale, Scirocco and Tramontana; The location of this country house provides an ideal base for long stay from which to explore the many wonders of Sicily.

Sciacca, situated on the famous archeological road between Selinunte and Agrigento in Sicily is
one of the oldest towns in the island. Founded in the 7th century BC by the Selinuntini which made it into their health resort; in the Middle Age it was transformed into a flourishing industrial and commercial centre.

Artistic works of notable interest especially of the Medieval and Baroque periods are conserved here. Nowadays the town is well known for its hydro mineral resources and the famous Monte San Calogero natural vapors and sweat grottoes. The beauty of an indented coastline, to the sandy beach and to the luminosity of sea Sciacca has also a gentle healthy climate which makes it an ideal place for health cures, for holidays and for tourism.
