You will discover intimate bays and particular rock faces before you come across villages typical of the region. If you continue through the dazzlingly mountain landscape, you will reach the summit of the Monte Stella (1200 m) or the Monte Sacro (1786 m). |
 The nearby National Park of Cilento will bewitch you with its history, as you investigate the archaeological digs of the buried city of Velia and the temples of Paestum, both of which were colonised by the Ancient Greeks. Of course, it would be impossible to forget the wonderful local Italian cooking: the buffalo 'mozzarella', the lemons of Sorrento, pasta, parmesan and stuffed fish, which encapture the true flavour of "Mediterranean" cuisine. |
