From Best Western Hotel Mediterraneo it will be easy to discover the many delights of Catania, in southern Italy. At a short distance from your room there are interesting destinies to visit, related to the deep cultural spirit of this city where composer Vincenzo Bellini and writer Giovanni Verga were born: among them, try not to miss the Roman Amphitheatre and Piazza Duomo with St. Agata Chapel as its main feature. |
The building where the hotel works was originally designed as an accommodation for travellers, back in the 1950`s, but it only welcomed guests for a few years before hosting offices. Finally, in 2002 it went through a complete renovation and opened again as a 3-star lodging. Best Western Hotel Mediterraneo comprises 63 guestrooms, decorated in shades of blue, yellow and orange: these tones seem to prevail in the overall decoration of the inn, as they represent the typical Mediterranean cheerful ambiance. |
