The receptionist who showed us our room was not very forthcoming with general information - paticularly about how the air conditioning worked.

We really enjoyed our stay- we had friends staying in hotels in and around Amalfi with higher ratings but all agreed that we had the best situation and value. However we found the dining room staff and some of the reception staff were not very friendly -they just did the minimum that was required. The bar prices were very reasonable.

a nice quiet hotel, centrally located with beautiful views--very clean--friendly staff--moderately priced. Room was small, but we don't tend to spend alot of time in room---it was just what we wanted and just what we expected---we would recommend it to a friend

Directions to Amalfi were very clear but not where the hotel was within Amalfi itself.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were slightly worried about leaving the hired car because someone else had acquired a dent/scrape. But we would recommend it to other people because we thought the rooms and facilities were very clean and pleasing. Thank you very much.

We had a lovely water view corner room with balconies on both sides. Our only comment would be regarding street (pedestrian and traffic) noise that continued till around 1 or 2 PM.

It was very warm when we were in Amalfi, and there was no air conditioning in the room, which was agreed upon in the confirmation e-mail.

Because there was no air conditioning, we had to leave the window open, and we were facing the water. As a result, it was very noisy in the evening when we were trying to sleep.

Excellent location, daily breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the American bar. We ate all evening meals at the hotel and would recommend the dining room.
