By car
From Verona or Milan, exit the highway at Desenzano del Garda and continue on the local road following the indications to Gardone Riviera. Drive past the towns of Manerba and Salo, and when you reach Gardone Riviera follow the signs to the Vittoriale (Gabriele D'Annunzio's Villa). Continue uphill, go past the Villa and proceed towards S. Michele . After about 2 km/1.2 miles, you will see a small side road and the Borgo degli Ulivi sign. | | |
