Profile |
All of the constructions within the Borgo are antique buildings that have been completely restored to offer a comfortable, state-of-the-art lodging only 9 kilometres from the medieval town of Ascoli Piceno. The 10 suites are placed in San Pancrazio Cottage -fit for handicapped, it was built originally as a farmhouse in the 17th century- and Relais La Villa -a medieval palazzo constructed in the 16th century and featuring a chapel. |
The rooms are named after the thematic decoration inside each of them: among the Junior suites of La Villa you will find, for instance, the chamber "Orientale", featuring objects brought from Asia by the actual owners -the Seghetti Panichi family-; meanwhile, the apartments of San Pancrazio cottage are way larger than the ones at La Villa and comprise kitchen, living and dining area. |
The Seghetti Panichis have managed the property for over 150 years. It opened as a lodging for guests in 2001, offering, apart from the charming chambers, a swimming pool, restaurant "La Quintana" and the historic gardens designed by German landscape architect and botanist Ludwig Winter. |
