Accommodations |
At Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi there are 10 suites, placed in two constructions, San Pancrazio Cottage and Relais Villa. Whatever is your final choice, the equipment inside them is the same, including tv, telephone, air conditioning, electronic safe and mini bar. Suites that stand at the first floor have a new elevator. The apartments, all duplex are supplied with living room and kitchenette at the ground floor, meanwhile the bedrooms are located at the first floor but with few steps to climb. The Sibilla apartment is located on a plain floor that you can reach with an external stair (equipped with a platform for handicapped guests). However our property is not really recommended for serious handicapped people. |
San Pancrazio Cottage: At San Pancrazio Cottage guests can choose among 5 duplex suites, comprising two levels, kitchen and living areas - these are the main differences with the units at Relais Villa -. The only apartment with only one floor is "Sibilla", where you will enjoy marvellous views of the Sibilini mountains and a travertine fireplace that make it ideal for couples on their honeymoon. |
Moreover, "Carlo Crivelli" has two bedrooms - a double and a single one -, two bathrooms and a double access. These same characteristics apply to suite "Adriatico", even though the second bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed instead of a single one. Then you may try "Tronto" and "Lorenzo Lotto", featuring double sofa beds in the living, and windows facing the historic gardens of the property and the Appenines. |
Relais Villa: At the medieval Relais Villa - the main construction of the Borgo, placed in the centre of it, close to the lake - there are a number of common areas besides the five suites on the first floor: there is a sitting room, a living area with fireplace, a billiard room, and the Venezia dining room. The names of the accommodations have to do with their thematic inspiration: suite "Roma" comprises two rooms - one is a double bedroom, the other a dressing room equipped with a writing table - and sports Pompeian red wallpapers apart from engravings from roman monuments; suite "Gigli" was named and decorated after tenor Beniamino Gigli, who used to stay at this room during his visits to the family - the chamber has photographs and books about him. |
Suite "Winter" has a colonial atmosphere, but the sketches on the wallpaper remind of something else: this room honours Ludwig Winter, the creator of the historic gardens around the house, as he used to sleep in this chamber while his designs became reality. Then you may also stay at the "Orientale", with objects from Asia brought by the Seghetti Panichis: this is the largest suite, with two sofa beds in the entrance hall, a yellow marble bathroom and a twin bedroom. Finally, "Blu" is decorated in shades of blue, a colour present at the travertine marble of the bathroom, the designs of china vases on the wallpaper and the tapestries. |
