The house had been a part of the "Augustinian's " convent since 1600.

In 1880, Mr Andrea Bonadies (gran father of cav. Andrea Carrano) started his "Pensione Bonadies Bellavista sul Mare", with only 6 rooms and a nice restaurant
overlooking the Amalfi Coast.

Now, after 120 years, the Hotel Bonadies still belonges to the family Bonadies, and is
one of the nicest and warmest of Ravello's hotel.

Well-known all over the world, "Bonadies" is a charming hotel, the best choice for who needs to relax and feel as " at home".

The Bonadies Hotel has been and still is chosen as
a holiday resort by painters and writers from all over the world who are looking for the quite atmosphere of a family-run hotel coupled with the most modern facilities.

Among our guests the American physicist Hans Albert Bethe, who won the Nobel Prize for physics in 1967, the photographer Dan Baliotti and the painter Bert Wells.

Mrs. Carrano (cav. Andrea' wife) provides, every day, even for
fresh plants and flowers from the reception area to the common areas, than for home made jams and marmellades for the breakfast buffet.
