The Hotel Palazzo Bocci was excellent. The rooms were larger than I expected, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Immeadiate and effecient luggage delivery by Maximillian-very polite

The staff of the hotel were helpfuland courteous; made excellent recommendations for restaurants and day trips; also, had our luggage repaired for us-when all we asked was where to have it repaired-made our stay pleasant. Mr Buono, owner, greeted us and welcomed us, asked about accomadations and personnel-congenial man.

More emphasis on the wonderful garden section, the excellent views, and the large comfortable gathering room and small bar; the variation of the selections for breakfast.

It was truly like living in a castle with the frescoes, large rooms, outdoor sites. The location is central to the city of Spello and to the hilltowns of Umbria-no longer than one hour to all major sites; close to the autostrada; good local restaurants and churhes. Convenient parking and a sparkling staff. Will return to this hotel even if it is off my planned itinerary. All I have said above of the Bocci applies also to the Hotel Posta in Reggio Emilia and its owner-host Umberto. An equally comfortable hotel, location and staff. Umberto was a gracious host, arranged for a tour of a balsamic vinegar factory and a dinner at a fantastic agriturisimo. Also hope to return there in the future.

This was a beautiful hotel! Our room was very nice, and the common areas were extraordinary. We enjoyed the lavish breakfast buffet and dinner in the hotel restaurant located across the street. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Steven Haught

Due to its location within a small mountain village, it is not clear on arrival if you can drive up to the hotel. In our case, we walked up first before learning from the hotel that we could drive up.

European style hotel in a very pretty mountain village. Excellent breakfast.
