By Car
Follow the A1 to Naples then take the A3 (Salerno _ Reggio Calabria / Penisola Sorrentina), exit at the Castellammare di Stabia junction. Follow the signs for Sorrento and when you reach Meta take the left hand turning for Positano _ Amalfi _ S.Agata. The Bellavia bed & breakfast is a few metres from the centre of S.agata village.
By Air
From Capodichino airport (Naples) it is possible:
To reach Sorrento by "Curreri" coach _ departures daily at 09:00, 13:00, 14:30, 16:30, 19:00. The bus stop is opposite arrivals at the airport; the journey time is approx. 1 hour.
Car hire (follow instructions "by car"), taxi or bus (frequent and cheap service) to the railway station "Napoli Centrale" situated in Piazza Garibaldi (see instructions "by train").
By Train
Intercity, Eurostar and regional trains run between "Napoli Centrale" and all major Italian cities. On arrival at "Napoli centrale" follow the signs for the circumvesuviana which is the service linking Naples and Sorrento. Buy your tickets a the "circumvesuviana" ticket office. Trains depart at approx 30 min intervals from Naples to Sorrento (trains terminate here) and the journey time is approx. 60 mins.
Travelling late in the evening is not advisable.
Sorrento _ Sant'Agata
There is a regular "SITA" bus service from Sorrento station to Sant'Agata approx every 25 mins. There are 2 routes _ "Via Massa" and "Via Nastro Verde". The buses stop at a few metres from the B&B. For those having travelled by train it is not necessary to buy another ticket.
N.B. after 19:00 buses depart from Via Degli Aranci _ parallel to the back of the station. |
