| | |  My father has always had a great passion for motorbikes in particular "vespas" and "lambrettas" which he usually acquires in a somewhat dilapidated state, repairs them and brings them to back to their original splendour! Having said this, it will not be difficult for one to imagine that it has "rubbed off" on my brother and myself. My mother has never shown much enthusiasm towards our hobby but we see the expression of satisfaction on her face when we transform an "old wreck" into a perfect vintage bike, probably because she loves anything that's "old" or antique and is herself good at restoring furniture and interior design. |
 So what has all this got to do with the B&B? a lot! We realised that our hobby of collecting motorbikes or rather our passion for "vespas" and "lambrettas" was beginning to weigh heavily on our financial resources, we urgently needed to recuperate funds! But how? My mother's suggestion was: "why don't we modernise that old apartment in the centre of the village and turn it into a B&B?" initially it seemed to be a rather daunting task, but we were all encouraged by Victoria's enthusiasm and the old apartment has been transformed into a lovely B&B. |
 Three beautiful rooms each with en-suite shower room, two of which have balconies including table and chairs. All the rooms are equipped with fridge bar, air conditioning, safe and satellite linked plasma TVs. At the moment we do not have "wireless" for using internet but that is our next "project". And to the furnishings? Vietri floor tiles with light fittings hand painted to match, and colour coordinated soft furnishings, Victoria has really given of her best!
