Sign at turnoff confusing; should have had an arrow pointing down the street to take.
No one at reception; had to search and found manager's office. Young woman who then appeared was annoyed that she had been disturbed from her work.

Our room needed maintenance. Terrace light didn't work. Fan didn't work. Chest of drawers had no drawer pulls so couldn't open drawers; had to pry two open. One tiny piece of soap that was taken away after first night and not replaced. No extra toilet paper; found some in hall supply closet. Wanted bottle of water, but couldn't find anyone to ask; found it myself in untended bar area.

Beach is made of rocks, hard to walk on. Water shoes would have been appropriate but we didn't bring any. Guests need to bring their own soap.

Amusing decor, beautiful locale, quiet, restfull but rough around the edges.

The hotel was not very easy to find, but with a little patientence we located it. I was quite pleased with room however I would have liked to have known in advance that the rooms did not have air conditioning. I would still have stayed but it would have been nice to know.

I was very impressed with the hotel and the area. I liked the artwork and the staff was plesant and accomodating. I would reccomend the hotel to my friends and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Finding Castel di Tusa was not a problem, but actually locating the hotel was very difficult as there were signs on the road, but no sign once you entered the town, and no sign on the hotel itself. I found this frustrating, although the Sicilians are the most friendly and helpful people imaginable, and I eventually found the hotel with their help.

The hotel was interesting, but I was really looking for a site where I could go to the beach daily and there were beach amenities. This wasn't the case at this hotel. I had to drive for 40 minutes each day to get to a suitable beach.

You should say exactly how far it is from Cefalu and Taormina, that it is in a very small town somewhat remotely located from major attractions, and that it is next door to a very loud disco with people up and about until 1 or 2AM - not the best for sleeping! The beach is not very nice, and there is no place to sun lounge.

I had requested a room with air con. because my wife was 6 months pregnant and this was confirmed by you. On arrival I was told I could not have a room with air con but they did give us one with a sea view.

There was a very noisy little road between the hotel and the beach. I was under the impression from the pictures that the hotel was right on the beach.
My wife and I don't speak Italian and this made it sometimes difficult to communicate.

Room was very dark, few lights. Staff seemed preoccupied, not terribly interested in service. Breakfast was minimal and late. Very uncomfortable beds, worst of our trip.

Not worth the money. Don't bother!
