We loved Casa Astarita - it was our favorite lodging during our trip to Italy. The food was wonderful (and plentiful), the rooms beautiful, clean and comfortable and the location could not be beat. All around, a fantastic experience and would not hesitate to stay there again- or to recommend to others!

We arrived much later than planned after a bag snatch from our car in nearby Torre Anunziata. The staff waiting to meet us were incredibly helpful after the ordeal and did everything possible to help throughout our stay.

The staff at Casa Astarita did everything possible to help after our bag, containing passports, credit cards etc. was stolen. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Cannot thank them enough. The guest house and room was immaculate and an absolute pleasure. Everyone should know about Casa Astarita

No everything was just as described, if not better. Rooms are bigger than they look in the photos.

Some guests might be put off by the entrance to Casa Astarita. It is upstairs, above a garage-like entryway where motorcycles park. It doesn't look as nice on the first floor as it really is.

Great in-town location. Fabulous breakfast--cereal, yogurt, fresh sliced oranges, cheese, pastries, and great espresso, as much as you want. The internet access was very convenient, and the facility was very clean. The rooms were large and pleasant. Our mattress was not superior, but our friends' rooms all had very good mattresses.

There were 2 flights of stairs, no elevator, so not convenient for a disabled traveler. The showers were very good--great pressure and size. The owner and staff were very helpful in suggesting places to visit and dine.

This was a very homey and comfortable B & B type of lodging. It was reasonably priced, especially considering the outstanding breakfast provided. Casa Astarita is clean, friendly, and very centrally located, right on Corso Italia amongst the nicer shops in town. We really enjoyed staying there (4 couples in our group).

The people were nice and the room pleasant. It is centrally located and a good value.

The 'Romantica' room is over a restaurant and you can hear some dishes and work being done at night. ( If you are and early to bed person' but over all very good.

I would recommend it as good location, good value and clean comfortable lodging.

The hotel itself was very good, but on the web it looked as it's situated near green and quiet place. That's why we picekd it up. Unfortunately there was a disco noise outside from the near resturant, which totally spoiled our nights. The laud music was played yntil 4 in the morning.

Alfonso and the kitchen staff very good and helpful. Even after checking our we were able to leave our bags under their care. very good.

Yet again, pity about the noise, maybe it should be mentioned on the web that there is lively disco restaurant near by, to give potencial cliets some idea what to expect. Also you don't get the rooms which you pick up on the web, but generally the hotel was as good as described on the web.

Recommened if you want to be based near the town square and party all night ;-), clean and with good breakfasts, nice rooms and servise. Yet again, not recommended if you fancy early nights and you are light sleeper.

The person that greeted us when we arrived showed us two rooms for us to choose from. He also told us that water and juice were available in the refrigerator and to help ourselves at anytime. There were also jars of cookies on the counter in the dining room that were available. Everything was perfect.

We really enjoyed the breakfast at the central dining room table that allowed us to get to know the other guests at the hotel. At most places you sit at your own table and rarely get to talk to other guests.

Rosa was very gracious, served us refreshments on a tray in our room, and said that we could move to another room in two days, which we did to our satisffaction.

Internet was not available and most of the time, staff was not on the premises. Only for a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon. Limited English speaking staff.

Service is limited. It is more like having your own apartment than a full-service hotel.

When we arrived and eventually found the location, there was nobody present to let us in the building or check us in. There was sticky note telling guest to call a cell phone number and someone would arrive in minutes. This was not convenient as we had to try and find a phone that accepted change, and get the right change.

The stay was very nice, although the room we were assigned was right outside of a kitchen for a restaurant so it was difficult to get any sleep. Other than that it was a very nice experience and I'm sure the other rooms are very nice without the kitchen sounds late in the evening and early in the morning.

It would be nice to have some additional directions or more detailed directions as the street where the B&B is located does not have the street name anywhere on it. Thus it is difficult to acertain whether or not you are walking on the correct street.

Comfortable stay at a convenient location for visiting. Make sure to get the room that is not right outside the kitchen.
