Fabio was fantastic, really warm welcome, it was like being greeted by an old friend. He had also arrnaged for us to be upgraded to a suite as it was our honeymoon. He, and the rest of the reception staff are an asset to the hotel.

The only thing that I think the hotel could improve upon is to let guests know at the start of the holiday if there are any nights that the restaurant is out of use, because of weddings for example. It was not a huge problem for us, but it would be good to know in advance so that you can make other arrangements in good time.

I think that you should perhaps add more about the walk up to the hotel from Cernobbio, though I realise this may be hard to do without sounding negative. I think that hotel would not be all that suitable for people who are older, or with small children because of the walk. It was not too much of a problem for us, and helped us walk off the excessive food and drink that we consumed on holiday!

Very clean, lovely rooms, great, warm welcoming staff - reception, waiters, cleaners. Amazing views. Cernobbio is also a great base for exploring the lake - close enough to Como and its shops but without all the hustle and bustle.

Slightly disappointed restaurant not open (due to wedding) and that pool was not ready but all in all nice hotel staff very friendly and helpful
