By Car
At Verona airport, take Via Dossobuono and then road SP26. You will come to a roundabout where you must go along the second exit and then turn right into A4/E70 towards "Venezia/ E45/ A22/ Brennero/ Modena". Continue along A22/E45 and get off at the exit for Mantova Nord. At the roundabout, take the third exit, SP28, and you will pass Tripoli and Mantova. Afterwards, join SS62 and take the exit for SS420. You will arrive in Eremo: turn left in Via Andrea Mantegna and once again in Via Francia, till number 11 (40 minutes).
By Train
At the airport in Verona you can take the shuttle bus to the central train station in this city, and the train to Mantua (it is a 40 minutes trip, approx.).
Once in Mantua, there are two alternatives: you can get on the bus to Eremo, which leaves you off only 30 metres from the hotel (it takes around 15 minutes) or arrange with the shuttle bus provided by Aroma di Mantova, that picks you up at the train station.
If your plane lands in Rome you will have around 5 hours of journey by train. Bear in mind that these services to Mantua stop at Bologna and Modena first. |
