It would be best to state very clearly that one cannot smoke in the apartments OR in the restaurant downstairs. Not a problem with lovely old Caffe Bar Sport around the corner, where we went after dinner every night, but for some committed smokers, it might be a problem!

Quaint little apartment in the heart of Bellagio. You can wake up to the birds chirping and fresh bread baking nearby. Very charming place!

We arrived in the dark at 5:30 pm and the place was closed, lights off, no indication that they were expecting us. We were also unable to make contact via the three phone numbers listed on the door. This was not a good situation to be in. Fortunately someone appeared after about an hour. He said he left the key out for us but he obviously forgot to tell us where he hid it. In low season I recommend calling ahead with an arrival time, even though they say you can check in 3pm - 11pm.

We were delighted with our stay. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

We caught a bus from Como and the views of the lake and villages we passed through were spectacular. I recommend the trip but there is not a lot of room for luggate and the narrow winding roads are not for the faint hearted!

Antico Pozzo is tastefully decorated, quiet, clean, comfortable, convenient, well equipped and reasonably priced. A perfect place to stay!
