 It is not easy to park in Amalfi because the streets are narrow and there are no parking spaces. We have not a private parking but thanks to a special agreement with a parking located close by we can offer very low prices.
On demand, the hotel staff organises transfers from and to the airport of Naples, Rome, and to and from the railway stations of Salerno and Naples (extra charge). |

The hotel is set in the middle of Amalfi and offers prime views of the village. In the immediate surroundings we can find Duomo Square and its picturesque bell tower and the tympanum of the Cathedral's façade with its renowned mosaics representing a scene of the Apocalypse of Saint John and the 12 apostles.
Another place of interest is the church of Santa Maria Maggiore with its homonymous tower realized in 936 by the duke of Monsone I). You can admire also the very ancient tower of Ziro built by the duke Antonio Piccolomini in 1480; it represent one of the principal historical testimonies of the defensive organization of Amalfi and according to the popular traditions, this is the place where, in 1510, Joanna of Aragone was first imprisoned and then killed with her sons. The area is plenty of dining facilities, grocery stores and picturesque shops selling hand-made items. If you are an "Internet addict" there is also an Internet Point few metres far from the hotel.
The beach can be reached in 5 minutes walking distance simply strolling down from the historic centre to the the main square (F. Gioia). |
