A dramatic restoration project changed the aspect of this historic hotel in the heart of Milan. It is situated close to the Central Station, on the side of the Air-Terminals to Malpensa and Linate airports. The building was restored from its foundations to the roof, and we acquired new and important volumes to create new rooms and suites, furnished in a very polished style. |
Located on the top of the palace and lit by the light and the beautiful sight of the city, our Restaurant offers a simple but tasty menu. The Conference Centre, with its 4 meeting rooms, meets all your requirements, and it is the ideal location for events, celebrations and conferences. The American Bar, situated among the majestic marble columns, is a meeting point for business and amusement. |
"The Andreola Central Hotel has an elegant 20th century façade, emphasized by the recent restoration. The seven big arched glass-windows are kept away from the traffic by a barrier of large flower boxes situated along the pavement. The second arch contains the entrance booth of the large revolving door made of cherry-wood: the entrance is easy to find thanks to the marquee with the logo of the hotel. |
The rational plan of the hotel matches the decorations and the furnishings with an effective stylistic touch, where the richness and the luxury of the materials used are never ostentatious. Arch. Gian Paolo Sana, who supervised the interior design, worked to obtain for a sensation of space and brightness. The gradation of the shades of red, is the main theme of the decorations of the large hall, where the volume is marked by the flight of the six majestic columns of Pink Portuguese marble, with their Red French marble pedestals and entablatures. |
The floors are in white marble embellished by a polychromatic inlay (Green Guatemala, Red French, Yellow Valencia). The white false-ceilings and the Venetian stuccoes on the wall, outlined by plaster frames, reflect the natural light or the similarly effective artificial light, all over the place". |
