Just a recommendation: the 'walk' to the train station is a bit more than just 15 minutes. It has to be done on a busy street with no pedestrian walk way and I would call it streneous and dangerous.

Great place to stay as a base for Cinque Terre. Very good Value for the hotel rate. One of the best hotels outside the 5 star range. But best for someone with a car, although shuttles is available at fixed times.

The bed was to hard to be comfortable. My wife slept on the couch in our room.

Sandro, was so warm and welcoming. We hope to visit again. Luka (Waiter) was also exceptional. We enjoyed all the staff.

Absolutely wonderful. If hard beds are a problem tho, bring your aero air mattress, because the bed was too hard.

Our passports were to be forwarded to us at Al Terra di Mare. When problems occurred, the staff were very helpful. They made many phone calls on our behalf, and aided in translation. Ultimately, they forwarded our very late package to us at our home in Canada. This service was very much above and beyond the call of duty.

Not only checked us out, but checked us back in again quickly and easily when our passport problem surfaced.

An excellent base for exploring Levanto and the Cinque Terre. Close enough to be convenient, while separate enough to be quiet and peaceful, particularly at night.

The hotel was very helpful and we were picked up from the train station by their shuttle service within 5 minutes of calling.
