During the summer season Hotel "Al Terra di Mare" provides a delightful swimming pool designed for long hours of fun in the water with a poolside bar for drinks that may be enjoyed beneath the shade of pine trees and lush gardens. For guests' relaxation by the pool there are comfortable sun-beds, deck chairs and sunshades.
La Piazzetta
Hotel "Al Terra di Mare" was conceived like a picturesque tiny Ligurian village: from the rooms quaint narrow streets lead to the cheerful Piazzetta, where it is pleasurable to spend some time while organising the trips of the day, sipping a drink, reading a good book and even meeting new friends. |

 The trails situated in the vicinity of the Hotel will help you to discover this amazing landscape. The olive tree, king of the hill, cultivated here since the beginning of the history, still has an important place in the local economy with the production of a precious oil according to antique traditions. Various kinds of plants grow in this mild Mediterranean climate. Some of them like thyme, sage and rosemary, characterise also the local cuisine, others like lavender and iris are used because of their pleasant scent. And how not mention our lemons, a joy for the eyes and not only that... have you ever tasted the limoncino produced in this area?!
The sea, the beaches alternate with rocky coasts; olive trees, maritime pines and vineyards in a unique nature where a marvellous choreography underlines the typical charm of the hills over the sea. Here you will find some natural gems like Levanto and the Cinque Terre with its natural territory which is part of the National Park and the Protected Marine Reserve, Portofino with its promontory, Camogli, the bay of San Fruttuoso, Paraggi, the gulf of Tigullio.
Levanto
This quaint village is the gate to the Cinque Terre; it is located in the centre of a wide valley surrounded by vineyards, olive groves featuring picturesque and antique colourful houses connected over a well-developed net of trails.
Levanto tells its rich story with the help of a present landscape which reflects its agricultural, mercantile and tourist vocation. The historical centre is enriched by buildings of a certain importance, beautiful examples of local architecture. Last but not least the coast offers the tourists nice beaches, beloved destinations for surfers.
Cinque Terre
The Cinque Terre considered by the UNESCO as Human Heritage are also National Park and protected marine area with the aim to preserve this enchanting landscape which during the centuries has been created by the inhabitants in this fair and beautiful corner of Liguria. The best way to discover the Cinque Terre is on foot on the numerous trails high above, in the midst of unique Mediterranean vegetation. |
