Hotel Posta is located in Moltrasio, on Lake Como, in a small square on the water-front. You can reach our hotel by train, bus, boat or car. Bus and boat stations are in front of the Hotel. The surrounding area is very pleasant on the eye and very peaceful: the hotel is the right accommodation to spend a nice stay on the lake. |
BY TRAIN
In Como we have two train stations:
Como San Giovanni 8 km far from our Hotel, the central one. If you arrive there You can reach us by bus ( line C-10/20, lake way, please ask always for Moltrasio pontile).
-Como Lago Nord is 9 km from our Hotel: if You arrive there You can reach us by bus line C-10 / 20 lake way ( ask
always for Moltrasio Pontile) or by boat.
Please note that if You arrive after 7.45 p.m., the only solution to reach us is to take a taxi.
BY PLANE
If You arrive by plane at Malpensa or Linate airport, You have to follow the directions for Highway A-9 Como-Chiasso take the last exit for Italy: Como Nord, follow the directions for Cernobbio, go trought the village and drive 3 /4 km after Villa D'Este along the lake way.
To reach our Hotel from Malpensa, there is also a bus that leaves 3 times a day 8.30 - 13.30 - 18.30 at Terminal 1, after 4 minutes is at Terminal 2 and stops in Como in front of the Como lago Nord train station.
Orio al Serio airport is at 90 km far from our Hotel
If You arrive at Orio al Serio take the Highway A-4 direction Milano than the follow the directions for Highway A-9 Como-Chiasso take the last exit for
Italy: Como Nord, follow the directions for Cernobbio, go trought the village and drive 3 /4 km after Villa D'Este along the lake way.
Lugano airport is at about 40 km far from our Hotel
If You arrive at Lugano airport follow the directions to Lugano than E - 35 direction Chiasso exit at Como Nord
( first exit for Italy after the borderline ) follow the directions for Cernobbio, go through the village and drive 3 /4 km after Villa D'Este along the lake way.
BY CAR
If You arrive from the South of Italy, reach Milano and follow the directions for Highway A-9 Como-Chiasso take the last exit for Italy: Como Nord, follow the directions for Cernobbio, go trought the village and drive 3 /4 km after Villa D'Este along the lake way.
If You arrive through Switzerland follow the directions to Lugano than E-35 direction Chiasso exit at Como Nord (first exit for Italy after the borderline) follow the directions for Cernobbio go trought the village and drive 3 /4 km after Villa D'Este along the lake way .
BY BOAT FROM COMO
Reach Cavour Square, from the 29th May till the 3rd October there is boat that reach Moltrasio (4th stop from Como) every 30 minutes. During the other periods You will find a boat to Moltrasio every 45 / 60 minutes.
BY BUS FROM COMO:
Reach Matteotti Square, You can take the line C- 10 or C- 20, the only important thing is to ask always lake way because some busses go only on the main way and does not conduce to our Hotel. Moltrasio Pontile is the name of our bus stop. |
