By car:
Exit the highway A1 at Reggio Emilia and follow the signs to the city centre. At the traffic light on the crossroads between the ring road (Viale Isonzo) and Via Emilia S. Stefano, go straight on and drive past three traffic lights. At the fourth traffic light, turn on the left in Piazza Diaz and go straight on in Via Ariosto and, afterwards, in Corso Garibaldi. After the newspaper kiosk turn right into Via Guido da Castello and go straight on. At the fourth road on the right turn in Via Palazzolo, where Albergo delle Notarie is located at number 5.
From Parma airport by car:
Once out of Parma airport, take the ring road and follow Reggio Emilia/Bologna direction until you take the "Emilia road" for Reggio Emilia. Go straight on until you reach the big crossing with the Reggio Emilia ring road (Viale Isonzo on the left and Viale Timavo on the right), where there is a traffic light. Once there, turn right and drive past an other three traffic lights. At the fourth traffic light, turn left into Piazza Diaz and go straight on in Via Ariosto and, afterwards, in Corso Garibaldi. After the newspaper kiosk turn right into Via Guido da Castello and go straight on. At the fourth road on the right turn in Via Palazzolo, where Albergo delle Notarie is located at number 5.
From Parma airport by train:
take the train to Reggio Emilia (usually trains heading toBologna, Florence or Rome: Reggio Emilia is the first stop after about 20 minutes).
From Reggio Emilia railway station:
take the "B" bus (the nearest bus stop is in Via Emilia S. Pietro, only 3 minutes walk from the station) and get off in Piazza del Monte. From there turn left and go straight on until Piazza Prampolini. At the third road on the right turn into Via Palazzolo, where Albergo delle Notarie is located at number 5. |
