Its a lovely hotel in a very old renovated
building, 2 minutes walk from the lake,
central to all the shops and restaurants in
Cernobbio. Although the first restaurant to
visit is the hotels restaurant - its
fantastic.

We arrived late due to lost luggage, but we were given an excellent welcome by the night manager.

The day manager helped us find our lost luggage. Our whole experience with this hotel was excellent, and we plan to return the next time we fly into Milano.

The hotel has a very attractive value to price rapporto. The staff were magnificent!

An excellent hotel with friendly staff, that is in a marvelous town for walking and getting things done such as banking, telephone, and tourism.

There should be some help available for older guests who have to take suitcases up the stairs.

YOu should stress that there is no elevator and older people should ask for a room on the first floor. We had a room at the back, but people in the front rooms found them somewhat noisy due to the restaurant and road.

Reception was very nice, whenever we arrived/departed.

2nd bed of a 'double room - 2 beds' was a pull-out, less than fully comfortable.
However, we got a mini kitchen, which we did not expect. Would have been nice if it had more kitchenware than just 2 wine glasses (e.g. silverware, plates, etc.)

The restaurant, while mentioned on the website, did not do justice to the nice surroundings, good food, and excellent, pleasant service we received. It was the best place to have a meal in that town, among the handful we sampled.

the hotel were great,the restaurant could not be faulted! The food was fantastic. My only problem was the church almost next door who insisted on ringing in the day from 7am every morning and on the half hour up to 9am!!

Basic but clean! all you would need as a base for a sight-seeing holiday. Restaurant worth a visit, staff very helpful. We would stay there again!

Location in the center of town and close to lake is fabulous. Breakfast is great! Rooms could use a bit of updating (white or cream instead of pink).
It was good to have parking available.

The young lady at the reception on arrival was
not forth-coming with any information
regarding our stay--we had to ask about
breakfast times, parking, etc. Over the 3-
night stay, I would avoid asking her for help
as it seemed like an intrusion. Everyone else
was delightful.

Our apartment was clean and spacious, but
there was no help getting the bags up to the
room, unlike other places that offered to
help. Great to have air-conditioning, and the
restaurant was OK. Breakfast was great!
