Today, it is impossible to distinguish the three original communities. Here follows the description of a few interesting spots in the two hamlets.
St Michael's Church (Rovenna) and Piazza Santo Stefano's Church
The former can boast a
remarkable astylar cross from Romanesque times and a baroque altar made in 1692, designed by Barberini. Piazza's Church has beautiful frescoes of the XVI century. In the village of Casnedo, besides Villa Perti, then Corti, the parish church, with a XVII century painting of Our Lady of the Assumption, is worth visiting.
Mount Bisbino:
Cernobbio is not only art and history. It also offers visitors its lake and its mild climate, its mountains and their fresh breeze. In fact, at the back of the town, there is Mount Bisbino, with its 1325 mt. height, on which the Swiss border runs. It offers many pleasant excursions .  On the slope near Scarone Alp, at 583 mt altitude, you can find "The Fox's Hole", a large cave with a subterranean network of waterways. On the top of Bisbino there is a sanctuary dedicated to Mary dating back to the XVI century.
